Marek D±browski, Ph.D.
M.Sc. 1982, Faculty of Chemistry, Warsaw University of Technology.
1982-1988 Research and Development Centre for Standard Reference Materials.
Ph.D. 1998, Faculty of Chemistry, Warsaw University of Technology.
Specialization: synthesis and structure of arylboronic acids.

Tomasz Kli¶’s researches interests are in the area of synthesis and application of organometallic compounds containing main groups elements.
Current interests include studies on the lithiation of complexed arenes (aryl benzyl ethers), synthesis of arylboronic acids using organolithium reagents or palladium complexes, synthesis of enantiomerically pure alcohols via optically active organoboranes.

Present position: academic teacher, Faculty of Chemistry, Warsaw University of Technology.

Research interest: organometallic chemistry with a special emphasis to the following topics:
•    Metal-mediated organic synthesis
•    Development of methods for regioselective generation of unstable organolithium intermediates and their effective use in organic synthesis
•    Rearrangement reactions of organic compounds induced by metal-based moieties
•    Various aspects of organoboron chemistry.

Hobbies:
•    Travelling and various outdoor activities, e.g., mountain trekking, cross-country skiing, cycling
•    Geography of eastern European and Asian countries
